I bought a set of used towing mirrors for my 2008 QC. I downloaded the installation instructions from the Dodge website, http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-...r.ashx?id=1252

They show that when you remove the existing mirrors you throw away the nuts and use the new ones that come with the towing mirrors. It just so happens that the guy who sold me the mirrors did not give me the nuts with them. Is there a difference between them? Are the ones that come with the towing mirrors made differently?

I just want to know before I tear off the old ones.

My truck came with the towing mirrors, but I doubt the nuts are different unless they are a different size. I'm sure as long as they fit on the new mirror's studs, the old ones will work fine.
