Tires with leveling kit and 3in body lift
What are the tallest and widest tires i could fit? i was thinking 35s but didnt know if they would fit. i dont wanna do any cutting from rubbing. also i want the widest tire possible. can anyone help me with that??
I believe Dodgenitto uses 37x13.5x20 on his truck right now. He had a little rubbing and cutout some stuff. So you could do 37x12.5 with 1.5" wheel adapters I believe without any problems. Look for Dodgenitto's album.
Yeah I really like dodge it then ram it's truck. The height i'm looking for. And i'm getting a local shop to do it for 275$ and then parts for about 325$. Not too bad for a nice lift. As for tires, if you go with 20'' rims, 35s would fit but may rub without spacers. I'm gonna end up going with 18'' rims with 35 terra grapplers, 325/65/18. They should fit no problem, and they're about 12.5 inches wide as opposed to the stocks about 10.5''. I don't need them, but i think I may get some 1.25'' spacers just for a bit wider stance.
Yup, $50. I forgot to mention that I bought the kit for $190. So about $250 total for kit, shipping, and installation. Ebay baby! I also have 1.5" adapters. Please dont confuse spacers with adapters. Spacers are just a piece of metal between your rims and the hubs of the truck. Adapters bolt onto the hub and have bolts on the other side of the adapter to bolt the rims onto. Spacers are dangerous if you do more than a quarter inch.
Yeah, I have a 3" PA body lift and new 3" keys, and I also did a 3" rear add a leaf and I run 37X13.5R20. I am not sure what the offset of my wheel is, but I am sure you can look it up somewhere! They are 20" xd Rockstars/10" wide.
I had to do some minor trimming, but I have had it in some pretty rough places and there is no rubbing anymore!

Are there ever any issues with the "pressed in" studs pulling out?
also, is there any real difference between running a 1.5" adapter with OEM rims or AM rims with less back spacing?
sorry to threadjack guys... and thanks in advance

TXJ,
To the first question, yes.
To the second question, no.
The stud wont come out because the rim is pulling it through the other side.
For your third question, I dont know.
I have oem rims. The 20" rims. I wouldnt think so other than your tire be either in or out a little more. By the way, i got my adapters on ebay. The aluminum ones. Work fine for me.
