weird clicking at low speed

Default weird clicking at low speed

Lately when i slow down or drive at slow speeds ever 2 out of 5 times my truck somewhere underneath makes a clicking sound. i have gone under there with a rubber hammer and banged around but cant find it anyone else have this problem??

I bet it's the same noise I was hearing with mine...check the rear wheel wells, you can test for the noise by hitting the fender behind the rear wheels. There are a series of connecting rods that run through the rear wheel well, mine was vibrating against these rods whenever I would slow down or make sharp turns.

Is it a 4x4? I am just wondering if you could have a CV joint going out in one of the the front axles. When they get dry and start to wear out they will often click.

Just a thought
