nitto terra grappler at
im looking at getting new tires and found the terra grapplers for 120$ a piece with free shipping, wondering what everyone thought of them, im looking for a little bit beefier looking tire without the whole big price, anyone have them on the stock 17s im looking at the 265/70/17 any help would be appreciated
they are a great tire. i was running them on my 2001 in 295 70 17 and loved them. they went with the truck when i sold it, but I am looking to buy another set for my new truck.
for the money, they are a great tire. quiet on the road, great in the snow and rain. hell, i used them all winter plowing and never had any issues at all.

I have a set (295/70/17). I've had them about 3 months and really like them. They look great and perform just as well. I havent been able to try them in the snow yet, though. In the mud they did very good. The all around road traction is much better than the tires that came on the truck (naturaly).
A problem you might find asking peoples opinion on here is that some people love them, and some hate them, and for the opposite reasons (some say great tread life, some say terrible). I would ask your tire guy, or find a website that has actually tested and rated them with an unbiased opinion.
(But I say get them)

I'm in high school and the most common aftermarket tire i see in the parking lot is the nitto terra grappler. I have a good friend who just got them and he loves them. I'm getting prepared to buy a set myself.
i bought mine on ebay - but check

I bought the destination a/t last summer at this place and had them shipped:
https://www.roadwaywholesaletire.com
I got a very good deal and ended up saving around $250 than buying from a local place.
