Default how high can I go

I have an 04 1500 dodge truck, its 2wd and I was wondering if I can put a lift-kit on it? I just want a lift to put some bigger tires on there. Does anyone have any suggestions on what lift-kit to put on my truck. (not anything too expensive)

well the cheapest way to got i think is a body lift (since you have an '04 i don't think you have torsion bars to crank).if thats not big enough then you can go to a regular lift kit.but then your talking more $$$

04 does have torsion bars, but i think it's only on 4wd. all you need to fit 35" tires is a leveling kit. topgunzcustoms makes good ones from what i hear. a body lift will do it too.

If your getting a lift kit, i'd suggest Fabtech. If anything, please don't put a skyjacker on it. I'm not sure how much you're looking to spend, but suspension lifts are 1-3k. Cheaper solution would be a body lift, or a leveling kit might work.
