Blew my 4.7l Engine and am considering...
for Dodges
if you want to be rewarded for your hard work
when you eventually sell the truck
the following engine swaps
seem to INCREASE resale value:
take a V10 2nd Gen Ram
and swap in a Cummins diesel from a retired school bus or midliner commercial truck
take a Dakota and swap in a 5.7 Hemi
(or even a 6.1 from a wrecked SRT8 Jeep)
if you are trying to do something profitable
with what was originally
a 4.7 Ram
that is tougher
but you might consider swapping in
a CNG (compressed natural gas) capable engine
in place of the gasoline engine
Dodge made 5.2 CNG V8s from 1992 to 1999
but I would not rule out
swapping in a Ford or GM CNG capable engine
obviously
this will be
challenging and educational
but it will improve your skills
and might improve your bank account

who would really do that hankl?
and who would really buy something that someone else has to MAKE happen.
That sounds like a cool idea, but not pratical at all, or be worth the $$$ in the long run
