New here and have been checking out the forums for a bit now ...lots of good info!

Quick question:

I just changed my oil and switched over to Mobil 1 synthetic...changed the air & oil filter and cleaned the throttle body as well. Truck runs great, but now the oil pressure gets down to below the 1/2 mark after it warms up. Only does this ad idle and once i step on the gas it goes up to normal.

Any ideas?

 

Pefectly normal. engine rpms raise the oil pressure. The warmer the oil, the lower pressure it will read at idle. Nothing to be alarmed about.
This is one of those things youonly notice when you really pay attention and then you thinks things are wrong when they have always been that way. Alot of people dothat to themslves, especially on engine noises...lol
