I have a 06 dodge ram 2500 diesel.. I am having HVAC problems. The hot and cold control works fine, but it seems to be either stuck in some bi level mode or something. You can change it to defrost, vent, or floor and it directs some air but not very much. You can hear the blower blowing hard... any ideas?

 

do a search on "blend door", its either that, or something is clogging your tubes after the blower motor.

 

I had the same problem. The Blend door is made out of plastic and is known for getting jamed up and even breaking if the blower fan was on high speed when the blend door control **** was turned to a different position. I would take it back to the Dealer. The Dealer will replace the Blend door. They will have your truck for 1/2 the day. They will lower the dash board and they will have to recharge the AC condensor.
