Factory Rail Caps for 2008 Dodge Ram
Hi all,
Does anyone know if factory rail caps are available for the 2008 Dodge RAM SLT QC? I searched the forum and could not find an answer on this. I do see that there are several aftermarket options available. I have the factory bedliner (over the rail near the rear window), and I have the tailgate spoiler. I have a Lund Genesis tonneau and would like rail caps to balance out the sides of the bed. I figured I would ask here for advice priro to going to the dealer and getting gouged on the price if they even carry them.
Thanks all.

I think I found it from Mopar:

Has anyone purchased these, and if so, do you have pics? I'd really like to see how these work with the bedliner and the tailgate spoiler.

My opinion is there junk. every bed rails is different and there made from one mold. 2. they hold water after rain/wash truck and will run down truck leaving water spots. I went with Hurculiner on my rails came out awesome . Look it up and if ya need some photos let me know
Thanks Tug

Yeah, I'm with Tugs on this one. I got the under rail bedliner because when I had the factory caps on my 2000 silverado, they would vagely flop in the wind and rubbed the paint right off the bed just under the covers. You couldn't see it, but it's a good thing it was a step side for the fiberglass box or it would have been rusting away since they def hold water and moiture.
I too am getting Rhino liner or Hercules, same thing, sprayed on for my rails.

Thanks guys. I did not realize they hold water. I'm not ready to get a spray in yet, but definitely will get it done down the road. I only have 3K on the truck.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving all.
