i can get up to 100mph in high 13s 0-60 in the mid 6s air ram your saying 456 gears will help pass 70 cause im getting ready for gear swap but just had a change in mind when i read you can loose in the 70-100 area would 410s be better or 4.11 then the 456 as much as i would like to knock off the that 1sec from 0-60 with 456 i dont wont to just take away that 1sec from my 0-60 an add it to my 0-100 what is the better gear for just straight up hualing *** i dont really care to go any faster then 120 i just like to get there real fast real real fast an if nobody tells me to get a srt10 i have a 98 sc vette out side i just like to bust ppl ***** in my truck to!!! 8 )

 

If you have 20" wheels, go with the 4.56.

 

Its real simple... DO THE MATH. But dont use the OVERDRIVE gear in your trans... You would use the 1:1 3rd Gear for the math in your case... You can figure out RPMs in EACH gear if you wanted.

1) Find your (OGR) Overall Gear Ratio:
TRANS GEAR x REAR GEAR

2) Find your RPM's @ any speed:
SPEED x OGR x 336 / TIRE HEIGHT = RPM

Use the formula to find out how high an RPM you will be running at the traps.

If you hitting 100MPH then just use that as your MPH, You will need to know your tire hight in order to find the answer.

100MPH x OGR x 336 / TIRE HEIGHT = RPM

Idealy you should be crossing the taps at your reline...
