I might just have to save up for a full on suspension lift.
Yeah, you'll have no issues installing it, but because it lifts the whole truck a uniform 3", you'll still have that nose down, rake look after your done...

So if you have the frame mounting hitch, the hitch from the factory towing will be fine like normal after a body lift?

Yup, you just lose the option of slipping a ball in the hole in the bumper and towing something...

What about this: The hitch the dealer installed for me mounts in part to the frame, but there are also two bolts that mount to the bumper. the then installed a plastic cover on the bumper to cover the two bolts.

I take it I will need a new receiver installed?

It sounds like relocating the rear bumper may not be an issue with that setup, don't know. You could always just not use the bumper relocation parts and leave it. You basically will have a 3" gap tween the bottom of the tail gate and the bumper.
Shoot me a pick of that setup and I'll have a better idea what your working with...

will do. won't be until tomorrow most likely, as the truck is at the dealer right now... while they attempt, once again, to fix the 4x4 hi shudder problem.

thanks...

The PA kit includes the appropriate brackets for the factory hitch. Basically, it has a piece that bolts in between the hitch and the bumper, filling the gap. The hitch itself doesn't move.
