Dudes, it's not the tires, he has stated that the issue was present BEFORE he got the new tires...

Then getting the tires rebalanced won't solve the problem. Why even waste your time?
If he can prove that the wheels are out of balance, then maybe he can get the bumper-bumper warranty to cover them????

I think I'm stumped at this point I guess I'll call the tire place and see what they want to do. From what I'm hearing road force balcaned helps correct other issues with your truck not just the wheels. Like the suspension being out of wack, it just fixes it through the wheels.

Yeah, I know, I suggested the road force balancing BEFORE he disclosed that this issue was there before the new tires went on.

As far as it correcting "other" problems that are not tire related, I'm not gonna dispute it, but I've never heard of it.

Also, sadly, I'm hearing a little bit about the quality of Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek tires not being quite what they used to be BEFORE Cooper Tire bought them. Not that I'm gonna change to another brand, I've had FANTASTIC luck with them for years now. But you NEVER heard a bad thing about them before, now I see the same recalls and an occasional bad (out of round, etc.) issues that all the other guys have. Now that said, my Cepek FCII's perform VERY WELL both on and off-road and after about 2.5 years and about 19k miles on them, there is next to NO noticeable tread wear. I've had a set of Mickey Thompson MTX A/T's (the ones that the ATZ's replaced) that had close to 30k miles on them and showed less than 20% tread wear when I traded the truck. I'm sure I'd have gotten 60k+ out of them...

I've got two hunting/fishing buddies with ATZ's. One with a Cheby Z71 (33x12.5x17s) with a body lift and one with a lifted Furd F250 4x4 Diesel (I think they are 37's on 20" wheels) and NEITHER has any issues and both have told me they'd buy them again in a heartbeat. The Cheby guy had just gotten his in early '06 when I did my lift and tried to talk me oughta the FCII's and into ATZ's he liked how his performed so much.

Now that doesn't mean you didn't get you a bad one by any means. Take the truck where you bought the tires and bitch like hell. Even if it ain't the tires, maybe they'll find what is causing the problem on their dime.

Although you are starting to lose me on this because your jumping all over the place. First you said letting some air out (I still can't believe anyone would put the max. 60 lbs. in them) fixed the issue, then you said you had the issue before the tires, now your hedging on that. I'm not surprised nobody can find the problem, you keep changing the parameters of the issue...

I know its crazy I had a little shake before, now its out of control, then on the way to the dealership it was smooth as hell, now its not???????? I talked to Mickey Thompson they said do not road force balance them the machines are not set up for large tires like these it will not work properly, they said to go get it aligned and then take it from there.

Would the dealer be willing to pull a set of Ram wheels and tires right off another truck, bolt them on yours, and go for a ride? Even 17" steelies and fresh tires... It sounds like you're going in circles (har har) trying to fix a set of rolling stock that might be no good.
