So i understand that the 2005 Daytona has a Borla Exaust system on it in the stock trim..... My question to you is that i dont like the look of the exaust tips on my truck and am interested in swapping them out for a nice angle cut chrome tips.. While i was looking today i see that there are resonators in the tips.. How will the exhaust note the truck change if these are removed and replaced with regular tips..... Thanks for the help.

Wow, I did not know that. Learn something every day I guess. Is there a resonator in the back section of the tail pipe like a standard Ram?

The 04 and newer might have a resonator, but my 03 never did.

Simply put, it will be a bit louder without resonated tips. And probably more badass.

ya, they have resonated tips. I took mine out and put in 4 or 4 1/2" tips. I cant remember what size it was. and it changed the tone alot. its not like a muffled rumble anymore. but I also switched my muffler to a 11" magnaflow. which to me sounds almost the same, just a touch louder. what baffled me was the 2" exhaust comming out of the muffler..... I'm gonna switch it to 2.5" in the summer. but I got magnaflow tips with a 15degree rolled edge. they look alot better.
