Question 2" leveling kit install

i want to install a front leveling kit on my 05 ram but ive never done it before. Is it hard to do?...and should i go with a 2.5" or 2" kit? when i looked online for a kit, it showed a kit with t-bar keys and one that was for the coil springs...which one is better?

Well, I would rule out the coil springs given you have an 05

Get the keys, or just crank the bars a little for free.

First of all, do you have a 4x4 or a 4x2? Because if you have a 4x4 you have torsion bars and if you have a 4x2, you have coil overs.

Cranking the bolts do stiffen up the front and harshen the ride a bit, but keys basically do the same thing. Some hate the stiffer feel and some actually like it better...

He has a 4x4, check his rides to the right of his name, that entered my mind until I saw that.

Yea, I actually saw he had a 4x4 after I posted before, I'm not used to looking over to the right yet.

You won't get an argument from me on the tire choice, I've put ONLY Mickey's or Cepek's on my trucks for the last dozen or so years.
You'll have some fitment issues with 35s on just a level kit. Not that it can't be done, but you'll scrub some on tight turns unless you change to a wheel with a decent backspacing and you won't have much room for any flex off road or even on just moderate bumps on pavement.

i cranked mine almost as much as they would go and put 285/70 r17's on it and it rides great! was worried at first but i got an alignment (actually got the dealership to do it for free) and no problems at all.
