Default Side exhaust

Hey,

I was thinking of redoing by exhaust...I wanted to have it come out before the tires on both sides...the place I went to said that it could not be done...so my question is has any one have this done...if so pictures would be great

To get the pipe out the left side it will have to go under the gas tank. I have not seen any trucks with exhaust out before both rear tires but I think it would look good.

I have never seen one with an exit before the wheel on the driver's side. I second what red06ram said about the gas tank being in the way.

Also, red06Ram, I am from Limerick. I wonder if I have ever seen you around.

Look on Summitracing.com for sidepipes, under the brand of Dynomax Performance.
I know this is a model and not a real car, and I know it is a chevelle and not a dodge ram, but this is what the side pipes should look like.

yeah i dont think ur gonna get the exhaust exiting in front of both tires unless you wanna go old school corvette, but you can do both out the pass side, like a lightning, and it does look pretty good, i fabed somthin up on my 02 ford in front of the pass tire, and it was killer, loved it

I almost did the exact same thing and you are talking about.....Gas tank prevents you from doing the drivers side. SO i figured just the passeneger side....Well it could be done, but when we had it on the lift there was no way to hide the Exhaust pipe so you wouldnt see it from a side view. Our frames are just too visable on the Ram. So i went with duals out the back on 45 degree....

i actually saw on 08 hemi sport today with it.....dual side pipes on passenger side right before the rear tire, and it looked really good.....if I dint mind polishing chrome tips every time it needed a wash i would definitely do it.

just get that heat wrap stuff and wrap the exhaust pipe thats directly under gas tank and maybe some on gas tank and you should be fine.
