Default 3rd time back in shop!!!

I have had it with this truck. I have an 02 4.7 Ram 1500 Quad Cab SLT. I bought it 1 month ago and it has been in the shop 3 times. I had to get new belt new drivers seat and a fuel sending unit. Now it is back in the shop and it will be about 2 weeks before I can see it. The fuel line I need is back ordered and no one in the USA has it. They have to order it from over seas and it will be 2 weeks before I drive it again. I am so pissed that they gave me a 2004 dodge Neon. I have had this neon for about 2 weeks now and I am so pissed that they gave me this. I am now either getting my money back or getting a newer Ram...
What should I do guys!!!

Why the hell can't they bend a new line for it. I'll tell you what, todays techs are all about remove and replace. They can't repiar a F'ing thing it seems like. What piece of the fuel line is it they are waiting on?

most of todays "mechanics" are nothing but part hangers.

ask them a technical question and they look at you with a stupid glare[&:]

If the vehicle is still under warranty, they have to do it by Chrysler's guide lines. It has nothing to do w/the ability of the technician to fix it or not. So, think about that before you stereotype the tech.

The techs that work at my dealer are all very knowledgeable, I will never second guess them. They all have tons of experience, and Daimler-Chrysler certified.

Also, be happy you have a car to drive. I work at a dealer, we don't have to provide you with a vehicle, we could just tell you guys to go to enterprise and rent one. A Neon is better than a bicycle or walking.

I don't know the excat fuel line part but, They said they couldn't replace it with a 04-05 because they are diffrenet. they told me they would trade in my truck for a 02 silver sport. I went there and told them sounds good to me. They called me yesterday and told me they sold it. I have been dic*ed around so much at this dealership. I have had it. My bro works for Ford and he is very smart. He is one of the top guys in his shop at the age of 20. He informed me to get my money back and get a ford if they won't he told me that dodge give me a really good deal on a new ram or bring a lawsuit... It's been under 30 days and i have had a damn rental for to damn long!!!! I am not paying over 400 a month for a damn neon.

First of all, it's not just dealership techs, but all techs in general. Techs today are taught to remove and replace components rather than do actual troubleshooting and repair of individual components. I'm not saying here that some don't have the ability to do that, but from what I've seen most haven't exhibited that quality/ability. If there's not a code they are clueless. I grew up in a garage, my fathers a master tech. I work on my own vehicles when possible (not under warranty) and still spend some time at a friends auto repair service.[sm=chairshot.gif]

Oh and don't just assume that driving a car is preferable to riding a bicycle. Just because your lazy A$$ isn't willing to do it doesn't mean someone else isn't.[sm=thanx.gif]
