Default New guy...lost 4wd

Howdy! I just signed on, nice forum here. I have a 02 1500 4x4, 4.7, 4 door etc. First off let me say i dont know too much about these trucks, ever since i could drive i've been wrenching on and driving old toyota trucks so this is a whole new ball game for me. I just lost 4wd in the truck and as far as i can tell the actuator is working fine but im sure i blew a hub. Theres a nice grinding/clicking sound comin from the pass. side hub assembly and the front end will not spin. Il be takin the truck into work to get a closer look but in the mean time can anybody steer me in the right direction as to what i may be replacing? Are front end parts expensive for these trucks?

Last but not least, are there any online manuals for the rams?

Thanks a bunch!

Well, the only part of this I thought I could help with was the manuals....but when i checked the link provided in the "most FAQ", the pages have been pulled. Maybe someone can offer some help with what happened to them.

ohhh, doesn't sound good. At first I was thinking just a shaft, but now i think it's a little more than that???????
Were you forcing it around a turn in 4wd mode? What exactly were you doing when this happened?
