Why not...it still functions exactly the way i need it to...actually better...gets better gas mileage...handles better...I havent touched the jack handle on my trailer in over a year...back under it and lift the rear...hook it up and drive off. Yall are saying it's pointless...but arent giving any reason why it's pointless. If you don't like it say you don't like it...but to say its pointless or worthless is just a severely uneducated assumption...Its way more practical than a 2wd 1500 with a 8 inch lift and 35's...but yall love those trucks.

Well your right. I dont like it and it looks real pointless. So does a 2wd 1500 with a 8in lift.

If pointless means getting drove 20k a year, carries firewood, carries toolboxes, hauls trailers, sits 5, and gets 4 mph better than everyone else with the same truck...then i guess it's pointless...the point is for it to be gawked at it at every show it goes to, point is to win Best of Show Underconstruction at every show, the point is to make people who don't even know you...know you because of your truck...to get it on 3 DVD's and counting...to get it shot by a magazine...to have the only doored Dodge on 24's ever done anywhere...all that and to do something people say couldn't be done. Drive it daily...Built all in a 2 car garage with a welder and a bunch of Harbor Freight tools...by a guy who had little to no experience...but hey it's pointless to yall. How bout I park my truck next to your in a parking lot and lets see who's gets more looks...

Shiloh- Yea he has a 6" not 8". lol I think 6" is the perfect height.

aftbig- Congrats on all the things you have done with your truck. Like stated before from me, its something I dont like and I think it looks weird to have a lowered truck that low. Me personally I dont get it why you guys wanted a lower truck. My truck aint a show truck to park in parking lots to get attention. Lets see whos truck does better off roading. Thats what my truck does and yours likes to sit in parking lots.

Point is to have a truck that is exactly what you want it to be...for instance...I like to drink beer....hence the built in cooler.

I agree with that. You wanted a lowered truck that no one has done. You did it and you like it. I wanted a truck to level out and go off roading but its also my DD.

I've never been an offroader...ive owned ATV's to do that...I don't like washing my truck enough to do offroading...goin to the farm is about the most off-roading I do...and I have zero problems doing that.

Now when you drive on the farm do you hit anything on the ground? I just dont think I could step down that low for a truck. But thats me. Like I said Congrats for all your awards.
