It's a 5.7. I tried that on the 2nd cylinder the 3rd and 4th I have not even thought about attemting yet. Actually the 4th looks like there is sufficient room the 3rd looks like a royal PITA. I am pretty sure there is not enough room to remove the coil let alone put in the socket and remove the spark plug.
I'll grab my universal and see if I can manage. The thing that makes this even harder is my hands are huge and fitting them in areas like this are not meant for hands so big. I will give it another try.
Anoy other suggestions are welcome as well.

Ok halfway there. It's starting to get cold outside so I will finish tomorrow. It's such a liberating feeling when you are retired and you don't "have" to finish now. Besides the auto parts store only had 12 spark plugs in stock and I will have t pick up the remaining 4 tomorrow. I have the hardest ones done now. Tomorrow will be much easier because the driver's side is done and the passenger's side has so much more space.
I will say again for the record, whoever made this amount of space really needed to rethink things. I really miss the trucks of the 60s and 70s that just had an engine, radiator and a battery in the engine compartment.
