MDS HELP PLEASE!!!! 2008,1500 5.7Litre
Hi Guys,
I'm new to this form...actually, any form.
I just bought a used 2008 Dodge 1500 with 5.7 Litre Hemi...It has MDS. It has 30,000Kms on it.
When driving slow in the city I feel like I have a "miss" up to about 1800 Rpms....Then I feel POWER...
Is this Normal for a MDS engine? Should I actually feel a miss kinda feeling?
OR....Is there actually something wrong with the truck....
I'm running Regular Gasoline...Good/Bad?
Can you please e-mail me directly at newfie_200@yahoo.com as I'm not quit sure how to retreive messages here yet....
Thanks,
Phil

So the felling of a "miss" i'm getting under 1800 Rpm's ypu think is the MDS running the engine in 4 Cyl's...
Does Tow/Haul Mode or OD/Off shut off MDS?

I'm assuming that when you start the engine, It goes right into MDS when Idaling?
So when you strat off in the morning for example and start rolling down the street...You are running on 4, as 8 are not required? If you punch it....You go to 8 right away?
Do you ride with OD off in City?
