Default Problems with 08 Hemi Power

Have an 08 Ram with Hemi. Acceleration is just OK and has flat spots. You can really feel the engine drop cylinders (Part of the engine management system) since I installed the Flowmasteer 50series.

Seems like alot of things are happening with the management system as you go through the gears. Gas milege is 13 in town and 15 on the highway.

Anyone have these issues? Can I do anything to improve these issues?

I'm noticing the exact same things. The flat spots under light throttle are caused by the MDS system kicking in and out. It is really annoying and a stupid idea. I'm also getting the exact same gas mileage as you, so I think it is pretty normal. I've heard you can buy a programmer, like superchips or Diablo Predator, to turn off the annoying MDS. You can also drive in Tow/Haul mode and that will disable MDS, but it will also lock out 5th gear.

Tow/haul mode doesn't lock out 5th gear only O/D does, but either one with shut off MDS

My truck will not shift into 5th when Tow/Haul is active. The owner's manual says that "Tow/Haul" locks out 5th and "OD Off" locks out 4th and 5th.
