Just bought the Viper 5901

I have read on here lot people have the Viper 5901 Remote starter and alarm so I decided to buy one. I wanted to know when installing this on my 2008 Dodge ram with 5.7 will I still need a spare key made if I buy the DEI XK532 interface bypass?
