Default sorry another leveling kit question

the guy at the shop here said its a very bad idea to buy the poly spacers and that i should really go with metal ones is that true or is he just trying to make a beter sale. The only reason i could kinda think of is that i live in canada so it can get very cold is there a chance that the cold could crack the plastic ones ?

i personally wouldnt do the poly on shock spacers either... i have a 2.5 inch leveling kit. all steel and it sits on top of the strut assembly instead of on top of the spring. What year is your truck? also i wouldnt have them install as its pretty easy and straight forward and a shop will probably charge you a few hundred for install alone....
check out hellbentsteel.com or topguncustomz.com ( i have the tgc kit)

Yeah, it's a shame, the kits with the spacers that sit ON TOP of the strut assembly are better and easier to install, but I've not seen them offered for 4x2s. Personally, I don't know anyone whose ever had an issue with the Daystars, but my stomping grounds are Georgia and Florida, so I don't see many that have to deal with very hard freezes...

to the best of my knowledge there isnt a metal spacer made for the 2wd. personally i dont see anything wrong with the poly ones, i have a 2.5" poly from TGC on its way to me right now.
