Nice Truck. I just picked mine up 3 weeks ago for $26k (sticker was $40k). I would suggest you do some reading on this site. You can use the search feature to find what you are looking for. There are a lot of threads out there about exhaust.
welcome to DF. Nice truck!!! do a search on various mods you want and youll fine plenty of info.... hard to tell you what to get for exhaust. you wnat it loud or just a rumble when you get on it? go on youtube and listen to exhaust systems on 4.7l dodge rams. ill tell you my 40 series si/do is very loud all the time and it does drone on the highway, but im young and i love it. we can help you spend your $$$ be aware haha
well, im old i guess now <37> but i miss the sound of my 69 camaro rs when i was 17,,,,, this is the first v-8 ive owned since that car,,, and i want it to sound the same! i miss it too much!
imm just worried about voiding the warranty with an exhaust... is that true?

You'll only void the warranty on the parts you replace. As for any other work, the dealer has to prove the modification caused the problem to void your warranty. (Magnuson-Moss Act)
There are tons of threads here about exhaust, and which brand is better, etc. Personally I have a Flowmaster Super 44, SI/DO and I love it. Sounds sick at idle and when you get on the throttle, but shuts up cruising on the highway. It drones a bit, but the further back you mount the muffler, the less drone you'll hear. Mine is mounting right under the back seats, because my exhaust exits in front of the rear wheel. When I had rear exits, the muffler was 20 inches further back, and I barely heard any drone at all.
If you really want that old school muscle car sound, to be very honest, you'll need headers. JBA and Gibson make headers for the 4.7L, both are great, and you can get both from Airram.com. Also, I recommend against buying an exhaust kit, the Flowmaster kit for my truck was listed at $375, I paid $280 at my local muffler shop for the same setup & installation.
Nice truck, and welcome to DF!
