I am new to pickups/trucks and just got an 02 dodge 1500 5.9 and I am just trying to find the best power programmer or what you recomend for me to do. I just came from the mitsubishi world. I have a 97 eclipse gst that I am trying to sell because its unreliable and not useful up in north idaho. You cant tow anything or haul anything and I am new to the truck world. What programmer do you suggest? the truck right now is stock. Let me know what you think and anything a new 1500 truck owner should now. I thank you in advance this is my first 4x4 v8 yea I love the torque and power

 

I have the superships programmer that I use on my 2002 5,9L
This one have 3 programs you can use on your RAM milage XS with 87oct, 87oct, 91oct performance, towing program and the stock program.
When you change program the car has to be shut off, and programming is only some minutes.
- The programmer have also some recording feature, but I have not tryed this at this time.
- you are also able to change the max speed and tire height, if you want.
- I have also adjusted the WOT shift pints with this, but this is maybe only posible in the milage XS program!
I dont know if there is any other programmer awilable to our 5,9L enginge!!!! Have not seen any yet.

If you ask about my satifaction..... I have feelings both ways. It is easy to use. But I miss some more programming with higer Oct...
