Default My First Truck!

Just bought my first truck, an 07 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 with a HEMI. To be honest, I bought the Dodge over Ford and Chevy because my uncle has a 99 with 250,000 miles on it that he drives regularly to San Diego during fishing season. I was very impressed with the durability. I've driven all 3 and I was really impressed with the styling and the power. I've had the truck for 2 months now and I'm very satisfied! The only issue that I've had is with the stock Goodyears. It's been raining over here lately and the back end keeps sliding out on me . I'm looking to get some Nitto Terra Grapplers to solve that though. Anyway, props to Dodge on building the most bad *** truck on the planet!

Congrats. Hopefully you'll get 250,000 miles out of yours.

If Dodge would put better tires on, then they would pass the cost onto the consumer either way, which that would also put some of the cost onto the next purchaser. It's like one with an extra option over yours, you know how that would cost some more. So with Blue Book being based off of original cost, and how it depreciates over the time. So it would be bad overall if they would do that. But they do spin really easy, they are like hot knives on even warmer butter. They just spin, with all that power. But glad you like your truck, they are nice.

What difference does it make? Most of us end up switching tires and in the end wind up paying more. Why not put better rubber on it, pay more to buy 1 and not worry about buying different tired later?
Congrats on the new truck...just wait for the disease known as "modding" lol

I never will understand why Dodge puts those tires on personally. Must be the 20" wheels I guess. They put Michelin LTX A/S on the Rams with 17" wheels, much better tire than those 20" Goodyears.
