Smile Another HEMI owner!

I just got back from the dealership and I am about to buy a 04 1500 single cab with the HEMI. it has 26k miles on it and it is for only 14000. so i will have pics up soon, and im going monday to put my down payment on it so will have pics then. I know i will get **** for this but the first thing im doing to it is im removing the stock muffler and putting a flowmaster super 40 and deleting the rear resenator.

14K? That seems like a lot to me. Don't they still have 08's for like 20K?

Yeah, N/K. I just bought my '05 1500 5.7 Quad Cab 4x4 SLT with 37K miles on it in June, and I only paid $13,900, and...I got them to give me what I wanted for my trade.

Talk 'em down a bit, especially if it's only a single cab and depending on 4x4 or not. I wouldn't go more than $12,500, and that's if its 4x4.

Yeah Hatchetman, that's a little high in this depressed market. I've got an '04 Quad Cab 4x4, Laramie package 38k miles and over $8k in mods and recently "toyed" with the idea of trading it for a new 2500 Cummins Diesel 4x4. Best trade offer I could get from three different dealers was $12,800 even with all the mods, winch even had to stay.
That dealer had an '06 1500 QC 4x4 Hemi Thunder Road edition on their lot with 21k miles on it with a price on the windshield of $14,900. You should be able to find a better deal or talk them down into the $11-12k range easy...
