I had to make a hole. Mine originally was in the hemi hat. I bought a grommet from the auto parts store. Hadn't done too much driving yet with it. But I will let you know.

Wow, I have a lot to learn. Whats with this "power wire"? Whats the concept/advantage behind it?

It just tricks the pcm into thinking the incoming air is always cold. You can do the same thing with a 5 cent resistor from radio shack. A tune is the better way to go if you have that option.

So for the power wire, you had to cut the hole in the tubing, or what? Because I'm not exactly following you on all of this.

No, the power wire goes in between the stock wire and the IAT sensor (intake air temp).
It tells the computer that the air is 20 degrees cooler so the computer makes some changes to give a little more power.....supposedly 8 or so more hp. Not sure what the computer does, but anyway.....LOL

I made the hole for the IAT because I removed the hemi hat and that's where the IAT plugged in....

I really cannot tell much difference to be honest...maybe more in the hotter months.

I'd run higher octane gas if I were you...the pcm is meant to pull timing with hot air for a reason.

You think a higher octane would show some improvement?

I seen that air scoop, but for $100+ that they get for it is ridiculous. The scoop doesn't even go to the filter box, it's just a simple piece of plastic, or it appears to be anyways??

Good deal on the Fogs, I haven't talked to my dealer about that yet.

No failure for inspection with the foggs and highbeams. You don't even need highbeams or fogs to pass inspection, just lowbeams.
