Default Finally removed the resonators..*vids*

So my g/f gave my christmas present early on thursday...a predator!! First thing I did was disable MDS and raise in gear idle to 600rpms...she's like a new truck all over again but better. This morning I went and had the pre-muffler resonator replaced with straight pipe now that she'll be banging all 8 (already removed the one by tailpipe). Wow is all I can say....it sounds twice as loud and twice as mean...soooo sweeeet.

Vids are uploading to photobucket right now...i'll post'em soon.

i had my resonators removed when the did my exhaust work ( flowmaster original 40 si/do) and it is loud. yanking those resonators out is the way to go. only problem massachusetts is becoming a conservative **** inspection state like cali now. i had trouble getting a sticker cost me a little extra if you no what i mean. but next year they are trying to have a damn decibal machine. so i might have to come up with something to quiet her down for the day, but i have until august to think of something.

Around here cops seem to not bother about sound as long as it's muscle...the weed whacker ricer stuff doesn't seem to fly.

I am getting sound vibration around 2000rpms since the removal...at least I think it's sound vibration. There's a lot of play in the hangers so I don't think it's from too much tension on the y-pipe/manifolds . Who knows..

yeah cops dont bother us here either. they dont seem to even care about the tuner cars or anything. they have better stuff to do i guess. we just have a dumbass senator bitch who thinks loud exhaust are annoying in inner city areas. we need some young people in office no more stuffy old rich folks.

anywho sorry about hijacking the thread. i got some vibrations too and it got soo annoying. i brought it the place who did my exhaust and the put all new hangers with new rubber bushings and its nice no vibrating now.....
