The install couldn't be easier, especially if you choose the Flex-a-Lite 180 Extreme. Fits in the existing shroud perfectly and the docs (although no application specific) are pretty good.
The problem is getting the stock clutch fan out. It's a bi*ch! But once you get that sucker out of there, you are home free...

you can also get an e-fan from airram.com. the easiest way to get the clutch fan out is by unbolting the fan from the clutch first and force it the rest of the way out. but i guess since everyone tells you to do what they did then go with the cheapest aluminum cai you can find on ebay and dump all of youe exhaust except the 20' of intermediate pipe just before the muffler but everything after that get rid of it. how ever if you just want more bang for your buck tuner is the way to go and then do everything else like cai, e-fan, and exhaust afterward. but like everyone else that's just my 2cents

thanks everyone for the info.I've decided to go with a set of westin nerf bars instead of the CAI and the power wire.I just couldn't let myself mess with the motor just yet(the wife didn't like the idea either )I think i'll get more out of the bars than the other things.thought they'll just be pushed farther down the list

EFan is a great mod IMO. The stock clutch fan just eats up useless HP and TQ. The E fan will free that up and keep the engine running cooler. That means more power, more gas mileage, and above all greater engine life. Truely a great mod if you look at it that way.

I did the efan but i kind of bastardised my truck a lil by using a dual puller from an'00 focus and just modified the stock fan shroud but i think that is am pulling a little too much current for the thermostat controllers I'm using because I have already burnt up two or three.
