Default is a handheld really worth it?

I have an allowance for Christmas, and I'm hesitant to spend that much money. My main goal with it would obviously be improved performance - is there a $350 worth gain in performance?

it all depends what you are looking for....a programer is a start but there goes your 350. engen work is different in performance. headders cams ect... im sure hammer will chime in on that side of things he is good at that stuff. but if i had 350 for performance i would get a tunner.

The main reason I bought a tuner was to eliminate MDS. That's it. The extra performance aspect is all a bonus to me. I would have to say that a tuner for the money is one of the best mods you can do! Think about how expensive a CAI is and then compare that to a tuner. You get so much more out of a tuner than a measly CAI.
If a tuner isn't what your looking for, just bulk up on some parts like hidden bed hooks, fogs if you don't have them, maybe put the money to an alarm/starter combo!!.????..etc.

Maybe get some $20 vinyl flames and stick them on your fenders like the PT loosers do and then you can just look really fast.

I already have it COVERED in 5.7l Hemi vinyls and flames and skulls and VTEC and I'm just kidding.

It's an 04 Hemi Quad cab w/ a CAI I just put on and Dual exhaust AFTER the Y

I also just changed the plugs to bosch +4 platinum

Do you think having a muffler shop fab up true dual exhaust would be a better investment?

Thanks guys

well true duals would mean new headers. Y-pipe and then duals is all looks and no real gains. True duals is only big gains with LT headers and a specific tune
Bosch Platinum +4's always gave me issues so I stopped using them a while back. The only car I used them in that did well was a dohc 4cyl Eclipse.

Diablo Predator I don't think has any kind of shift pattern adjustment for the 04 so Superchips would be your best bet.

I dunno what else to tell ya for around that kind of money. What about tires? What about a radio? I paid $649 for my Pinoeer Avic-f90bt navi unit. It has everything you ever need for a radio. Auto connect bluetooth, 4v pre-outs, Ipod interface, USB connect, SD card reader right in the face...on..on..an on... Love it.

That was the first thing I did was the HU. I did it right too. I ordered a SONY head unit w/ all the features that I want, and got all the suggested stuff from Crutchfield too. (the interface, harness, dash kit, antenna adapter etc.)

Also have a custom enclosure on the way for 2 10's under the rear seat.

Thanks for all your input.
