WHAT? Take a look at my truck in my Sig. The back windows are factory tinted at 18-20%. You cannot even see in them unless you get super close in the middle of the day. Forget about seeing in there at dusk or even night time.
I have had a lot of cars in my time. 20% all around will be as dark as anyone needs and still be able to see where the heck they are going at night when they are backing out of a dark street or driveway or parking spot. You cannot see inside an all around 20% tint after the sun sets. During the day, you can see outlines and that's it. I think anything past that is overkill and around here in NY is asking for a ticket.
i second that, i even have trouble seeing out mine at night and often roll the window down. only time you can see anyone inside is if the sun is shining straight in
