This is my first post here. I have a 2006 Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 with a 5.7 Hemi. I recently had an emission test done and about a week later the check engine light came on. It shows a P0406 and a 1521 E MIL code. I know that the 0406 is EGR related and not sure about the other.

Where can I find a diagram / infor on checking or changing the EGR parts? Does anyone know what the other code is?

I had multiple codes when my EGR was bad. Even against the mechanics advice, I ended up buying a new EGR, just based on everything I've read in this forum, and it cleared my CEL's. If I didn't have this forum, I probobly would still be spending money, replacing crap that doesent need to be replaced. I'd say start with an EGR, I got mine at a local parts store under $50.00. plus its about a 20 minuite install.
