Default No bi level heat control, any thoughts?

I have on 05 1500 Hemi and the other day my bi level selector for heat and ac stopped working. It is now stuck on the dash vents. It will not go to defrost or floor. We need defrost in Colorado. Any thoughts or advice?

My 03 Ram 1500 just developed this same problem. Anyone know what causes this? Thanks.

search for a cracked vacum hose some where in the engine compartment that goes into the firewall, you may have to trace it under the dash, or remove the dash to find it. also if it is not throwing a communication error, you may need to have the pcm flashed. my 05 dak had a similar problem, $85.00 to fix and they updated the pcm with new software
