Default cylinder ?

I'm new too forums & my mechanic wanted to know about this year truck as he doesn't want to fix the truck & have more problems in 6 mths to a year if this is a issue for it.



I have a 2003 dodge 2500 4x4 5.7l Hemi that the #5 cylinder intake valve is sideways!!! Should we fix all of them or go ahead & just do the one thats fried??? Any help is apprieciated

Just pull both heads and do a valve job. These are good engines and should last a long time with proper maintenance.
Or look through our classified add section and buy a low mileage engine.

How many miles are on yours?

That's nothing for a modern engine. If it looks clean inside from proper maintenance with no sludge, just redo the heads and it should be fine.
