I've been considering a fastman tb too. I e-mailed them for more info on installation and potential performance for the V6. I can't wait to hear from them.

I have seen a couple v6's on other forums who had him do their TB's and they said it made a difference. Let me know what Dan says about our TB's when he gets back to you.

Here is the reply I recieved from "the fastman" on my inquiry about his TBs:

My modded 3.7 TB is one of the simplest and most cost effective way to get
more performance put of your 3.7 engine. The modifications that I do
provide much better throttle response and a noticeable gain across the whole
driving range. I have sold a lot of these TB's over the years but nobody
has given me back solid dyno #'s. I do not have any customers that were not
happy with there gains. Everyone reported back positive feedback.
Installation is pretty straight forward on this TB. It is very easy to get
to and only a few bolts hold it on. The only area that has any difficulty
is taking the connector off the linkage. One has to be careful to push the
connector off the proper way or it can break the plastic end. I can repair
in the rare event that this does happen. It is really a simple R&R.
If interested in the modded 3.7 TB please let me know. You can order
securely online or feel free to call me direct. I look forward to helping
you meet your performance needs.

Derrick someone tried that on another forum with 4.7 TB's and Dan does not do group buys. He said his price is already rock bottom for ported TB's, do some research and you will see he is telling the truth. Once I get some body work done this is my next mod.

I am not trying to take work away from him, but can we do this ourselves? What exactly does he do?

I think you can do it yourself, but most people pay Dan to do it b/c he does a great job. If you or I ported our TB's they would most likely turn out uneven, but if you are willing to try I would love to see the results. From what I can tell he somehow machines down or grinds down a restrictive area near the butterfly/valve and the opening of the TB.

Thats what I thought. If he has the ability to machine these things where it is even then I don't think I would want to try. I would be afraid of ruining my TB and then have to pay to get another one from him anyway!
