Thanks!
Sorry no pictures. But the motor is bolted to your wipers, can't miss it. And on the bottom side of the motor itself is a black cover that is held on with 5 or 6 clips. (It's about the size of your wallet) Once you have opened this up, you'll see (2) metal points on the motor, and a "track" of connections on the cover.

I cleaned the grease and dirt off of the metal points and tracks, and then had to lightly scratch the surface of the connections to show some metal in some spots, as simply removing the grease and dirt wasn't enough to fix my problem. (this may cause these areas to rust or allow for corrosion to build up down the line, I don't know. But it's working now)

Level of difficulty. 1/5

Hope this helps.

If anyone tackles fixing this, a how-to thread with pix would be nice. I didnt realize this issue was so common as mine does the same thing. It has just been a quirk i put up with and have for a couple of years now and it really doesnt cause any real problem for me. Yet, anyway. Low and high work fine but on intermittent, at any speed, i might get 1 swipe or i might get 2 or even sometimes 3. I havent seen it not swipe at all yet.

I installed re-man unit from O'Reilly's, but now, the wipers won't park whatsoever! Intermittent works, but won't park if you turn the wipers off.

Youtube 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Multifunction switch Replacement

My truck was acting a fool. The intermittant switch never worked right. I replaced the multifunction switch and it worked perfect. Don't take it to the dealership. They will charge you to remove the stearing wheel and you don't have to. Get a new switch from the dealership $119 and it takes 5 minutes.

Mine has started doing this, so I may be taking a whack at the diy...

I found this underneath the steering wheel of my 93 dodge dakota sport. We cleaned off the connectors and the wipers work again but do not pulse anymore. Does anyone know where to look to get another part?
