Well after several attempts with what exhaust I going to chose I decided to go with the Borla the one that exist behind the wheels. I really wanted the one that came straight back but it was on back order.

My buddy has the Borla on his '07, sounds sweet. If I had the $$ I'd have either gone that route or with the Magnaflow. Since I've never owned a Magnaflow setup yet I thought I'd try that route, but found a generic muffler that appears to be built about the same as the MF but 1/2 the price, so I bought it. I'm just waiting for it to warm up so I can get under my truck and put it in!

Did that kit come with tips? I didn't see any, usually Borlas do.

 

my ram came with borla from the factory. and it sounded pretty good. when I installed my magnaflow. it sounded pretty much the same except a lil bit louder.

 

the MAG was louder than the Borla? that's kinda suprising. What made you switch from a Borla to a magnaflow?

 

I had a baffle come loose in mine and all it did was rattle at idle. so I replaced it with a maggy.

 

What exhaust systems have you tried?

 

I have a borla system on mine and it sounds great, I would really suggest adding an intake too if you dont already have one as it cheanges the tone to a deeper/louder rumble than with the stock box on it
