Default Step Up Bars

A kid in my tech school came to my shop today and wants to put ford step up bars on his 04 dodge 1500. i was wondering if any one could tell me where i might be able to get dodge brackets for the ford step up bars to fit to his truck?

yeah, the bars themselves are most likely built in such a way as to bolt up to the brackets designed for the ford, so you are going to have to fab something up for the dodge....there's not going to be a bracket you can just buy and bolt on.

Well the school is split up so i would have to go to the welding shop and machining shop and they would have to take time to cnc something and weld all that on there so i thought it would be easier to buy brackets but if it comes down to that we might have to. BUT who ever has step bars on their ram how is that bolted on there? i know its right above the pinch weld but when i got under this kids ram i looked at the metal and it seemed really thin. so is it renforced with something? i just dont want to half *** this kid he runs a landscraping company he built up from nothing and if that step bar broke off... my god i know i would be pissed.

i suppose if the braced ends of the step bars line up to where the dodge brackets mounted, you could....but i would seriously doubt if the ends would line up to the dodge brackets.

here are the directions for the bars i own, to give you an idea how they mount up

Yeah, sometimes the easiest solution is often overlooked.
