hi guys, i'm new to this board and i've always wanted a hemi ram. i found this truck painted w/ harley orange over black and claim to be a harley edition hemi Ram. i'm sending a friend of mine to check it out tomorrow but meanwhile i want to ask you guys if such a model does exist? i'm asking because i've never heard Dodge had some deal going on w/ HD and i couldn't find anything on the internet. so if any of you have heard it before please let me know. i'd really appreciate it. basically i want ot know if i'm buying a truck customized close to a harley truck style by a dealer or the seller, or an OEM edition from Dodge. thanks!

yeah I was at my dealer a couple weeks ago and they had one in all black. It was basically just the 4-door hemi with the SRT-10 hood, chrome 20" wheels, ground effects, a tonneau top and leather seats...

It was defeinitely cool looking, but the harley package added about 8 grand to the existing price

An all orange version might look a little obnoxious, but this one was pretty nice looking

What the hell does harley davidson have to do with my Dodge? I always thought it was kinda gimmicy that ford offered one, but now DC is.

Oh well. I guess getting overcharged for a motorcycle just isn't enough for some people.[sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

There is no Harley package, except for a dealer option. My brother is a Marketing Manager at a harley Davidson and the guy who owns that dealership also has a dodge dealership. So they make customs Rams ocassionally, pretty much just a black hemi sport with the stock 20's and some harley badges thrown on and a custom two-tone black-orange leather, there's some other stuff too, but can't reember it, but there is a lot they can't do because of legal issues with ford's contract with harley for there truck. You'd be surprised how many harley owners would shell out 40K for a harley ram.

 

If it leaks oil and won't star its probably a harley edition. LOL
