Default HELP on new shocks after level!!!!!!

As I posted a week ago or so, I was looking for shocks for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 4x4. Well, I just leveled my truck and my stock shocks are bottoming out. So, I purchased oem bilstein replacements. My local 4wd store told me the front shocks are to short and I needed to get longer front shocks. Can someone with a level and the correct shock size/brand/ or part number help me out.

There are some other brands on this site, but these are the ones I am running and they are inexpensive and work fine. I have no complaints.

if you purchase them you can choose them according to the amount of lift you have, and you can choose the color of the boot to try and match the color of your truck.

That's a good deal, I think I remember reading somewhere that the Rough Countries were made by Rancho and the 8000 series were Rancho 5000s and the 9000 series were Rancho 9000s. Just get the ones for 2" of lift and you should be good to go...

Are there any part numbers for a shock I could pick up at a local parts store?
I have been thinking about a real lift but would love to get a pair of shocks just for the front to get me by until I decide.

I just cranked my stock bars until level and now it bottoms out over speed bumps pretty bad.

I'd say if you are going to just walk into a local auto parts store, pick out the brand and type you want, have them pull what their computer says your truck would call for stock, then have them find that model but 2" longer...

Default Shock lengths

I have only seen OEM size or 4" longer, not 2" longer. We're you able to find anything? I'm trying to decide which to get, would make my decision much easier if I had one exactly 2" longer.
