Default Power Steering

Does anybody elses truck squeel when turning the wheel? Mine did it since I bought it a year ago. My first truck so I thought it just did that.

Squeel is not "normal." Check the belt to eliminate that it is slipping. Consider draining and refilling the PS fluid.

mine makes a high pitched whine when it is low (havent had a chance to fix the clamp leak yet). I fill it up, and it goes away.

It happens no matter what. No problem when Im moving. Just when at a stand still or moving really slow and cranking the wheel fast.

it could be one of the hoses that are connected to the pump, maybe one of them isn't able to transport enough PS fluid as the truck needs? My guess. Or maybe there is just something wrong with the steering that needs to be replaced, maybe its worn out or something because you're already in a high mileage.

I'll check the hoses in the morning for anything unusual.

Mine doesn't squeel but it's louder than it has to be.
