those poor fords

pretty much side of the road but the snow wasnt that deep and its the same road i drive up and down every day in my 2wd truck and little cars are up and down it all day he was just spinning like mad until we locked in his front hubs and i gave him a push backwards down the hill. his tires werent the greatest but i just thought it was pretty funny to watch little cars rip past up the hill and since it was ford i just had to mention it lol

a big f-350 got stuck on my street today in only like 4 inches of snow even in 4wd somehow. must be a rough day to own a ford lol had to give it a push back down the street. funny that my 2wd DODGE can make it up no problem and they were telling me they always get stuck unless they actually get out and lock the hubs in while in 4Lo lol

well that seems to be a pretty useless 4wd system i sure as hell wouldnt wanna have to drive around the city always in 4wd or 2wd and then if i did get stuck on a busy street have to get out and lock my hubs in

I am a pipliner so do a lot of work in the mud. My old company truck was a 04 ford super duty and i had to get out and lock the hubs for any 4 wheel drive. Still would get stuck alot. I got a new 08 super duty and i can put it in 4 high on the fly but have to lock hubs for 4 low. Its winter time now and most the mud freezes now. But i do have to use it few times a week. The only time i had to get out and lock the hubs it didnt help i still had to get pulled out by a dozer. But anyways there is no lever in fords anymore their is a ****.But its still a Ford!

No, that's actually the best. The ones without hubs are electronic, and with wires they aren't so great. So if the wires pull apart, then the 4x4 doesn't work. Also the selector goes between 4x4 and 2wd. So it's not like you have to lock and unlock the hubs each time.
