Lightbulb Torsion lift

Will 2.5" torsion lift give me more height in the front than just cranking the torsion bars themselves? Also, when the torsion bars are at stock height and you swap in the torsion keys, does it lift the front with the torsion bars at stock setting? Or do you still have to crank it?

Nope, you'd achieve about the same amount of lift cranking or putting in the keys. Since both achieve the results by increase the torque on the torsion bars, there is very little difference to how you achieve it...
You could probably achieve a little more height with the keys and then cranking the bolts, but it'd put a lot of stress on the bars and tighten the front end up so much that driving would not be very pleasant...

true , i just cranked my torsion bars, i believe it was about 8 turns on each ajusting bolt and i achieved almost 3". the ride is a lil bit stiffer in the front but not enough to be annoying. just dont forget to get an alignment afterwards.
