Looks good. Did you use the technique where you put the headlights into the oven to heat them up and soften the glue? I have heard a lot of guys do it that way and was curious if you used the same method.

I used duplicolor the same same code as my truck. I used the method that was posted on here I think, were I put them in the oven to heat them up to soften the glue and it worked perfect. the scotch brite works realy well for taking off the chrome. The only problem I ran into was taking the tape off the chrome. It tends to stick too well and peeled a little bit of the chrome off. I even used the expensive low adhesive painters tape and chilled them in the freezer to aid in the release. Also use a very soft cloth when cleaning the chrome before you reassemble the lights. I used paper towels and windex and it scratched the chrome. As for inspection, I have my old lights that I can throw on for a day for that...

PS.

I kept all the old sealant on the headlights and put them in the oven to heat up the glue and put them back together when they were hot with a set of ratchet straps. I did not have to add any silicone at all and they are perfectly sealed...

Or is it mostly just using a fine brush to brush it on in small amounts to be sure not to have runs? And they look really good. Have any closer pictures of just one?
That looks GREAT. I colored matched mine too, alst fall. left the reflector in though. Its a stock look, but looks so much better.

ried, it's easy to do. look up the DIYs in that section. use duplicolor rattle cans, the color matches pretty well, I got the same color truck as you. And it being behind a lens hides small mistakes you make pretty well. does take some patience, not much.
