yeah, maybe we can all pitch in a little, and get a floater set. They did that on the marauder site with the cam covers. You request the floaters, paint them however you want, then when you install, your originals become the new floaters for the next person to request. I think they did it like the one requesting pays for shipping to get them.

for this mod you really don't need a floater set. can do the whole thing in 3-4 hours. faster if you don't put on 4 coats of paint and watch tv like i did (you only need 2).

pretty good idea though.

i doubt the will even notice they are painted at inspection. im doing this once it gets warmer out. wlel im goign to take them apart and have my buddy at the body shop spray the paint and bake it on.... i hate to paint and he does any paint work for me for free. cant wait.

Well I removed the reflectors so they might. Ya never know...

yeah maybe they will notice that. just play dumb with them. good to have an extra set for those kinds of things though. i feel ya on inspections too because MA is becomming a inspection **** state
