Last I checked, the diablo sport CEO isnt out here hangin out with us on the DF. Thanks for the replies, and I'm sold on the superchips. Ordering it right now.

 

If you're going to get a SC 3815 get a used one...people are selling them left and right for low 200's.

 

I chose Diablo only because it has future custom mod capability and was the only tuner claiming to turn off MDS. I bought mine on Christmas clearance sale for $319 but you still have to buy update siftware because they released the handhelds prior to being ready. Total B.S. if you ask me. Right after I bought the Diablo, SC came out with the MDS solution and no updating is needed

 

if they release an update to get rid of tq management, i'm buying one again. hopefully it won't throw a code this time around.

 

Well MSD Adam said that there would be an engineer from superchips logging on today. If they do they might be able to give some definite answers as to what options are coming and when we can expect them.

Adam, that is great to hear. I know that I am not the only one that appreciates you guys coming on here and answering our questions. This is somthing that no other company has done and I think you are going to receive a lot of positive feedbck from keeping your current and future customers informed.

 

Let me start off by thanking everyone on this forum for a lively debate on the merits of one tuning company over another. I'm new to forum participation, but I hope to be a quick student.

My name is Tom Bennett and I'm the Division President for Superchips, Inc. I am excited to be a member of this community and look forward to some constructive discussions about Flashpaq, tuning, performance modifications, and anything else related to our collective passion for cars, trucks, and SUVs (including calendar babes).

Per Adam’s earlier posts, I owe this community some information about up-and-coming features in our development queue. I am reviewing the Dodge project timeline with our R&D team and I intend to share parts of the plan (over time) without tipping our hand to the competition. I also need to make sure our timing promises can be met. I don't want to disappoint you if something hits a development snag so I can’t commit to timing... which brings me to a point about how Superchips goes to market.

We make every effort to perform extensive lab and field testing prior to releasing a calibration or new feature to the customer. Our customers are not guinea pigs (despite their pleas to be the first on the block). A miscue in the field can mean broken engines, transmissions, etc. It may seem like we’re slow to respond... but that’s because we’re measured, diligent, and relentless in our pursuit of innovation. We make every effort to protect your investment and we focus on the details. We don’t set ABS faults etc... I could name names but I’ll keep it clean for now. Trust me – we share your passion and we want it now too!

Here a few things that we’ll be releasing in the next few weeks:

· Throttle Blade position learning procedure
· WOT shift point adjustment
· Part throttle shift point adjustment
· Transmission line pressure adjustment
· Idle adjustment

Stay tuned over the next weeks. We’ll be introducing these on a case-by-case basis, but we’ll post when they’re available so you can load them into your Flashpaq ASAP.

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum. What are the prospects for a 93 tune for the flashpaq? I know that Ron on the flashpaq forum had mentioned that a 93 tune was also going to be a new feature.
