I just but a new 08 1500 quad cab 4x4 and want to add the 2.5" leveling kit to the front. will I need to replace the struts as well or will the stock ones work ? Also how bad is it to install these I do a lot of engine and tranny work but have not messed with much suspension stuff.

If you do the simple coil overs you will not have to replace your struts. However, you will need an alignment. If you are comfortable with basic tools you can do this yourself...
