put it this way...i had the non-full intake on my truck, and in less than a year bought the full.

But i'm weird. The way it "opened" up the engine bay is awesome. i can see everything, powerwash everything, etc, etc. that alone is worth it to me. and yes, the noise is from the full intake, and not the filter. i ran a k&n on my non-full intake as well.

 

looks like ill grab the full one. did it come with everything needed for installation?

 

yea...you'll probably wanna end up purchasing/replacing the pretty blue hose they give you...cause it's pretty crappy...and will probably kink a bit. i have it on there for now cause it's winter, but once it gets warm in the summer, it'll probably fold around the bend instead of curve like it does now. only downfall is it isnt' as easy to find a cool blue colored heater hose. oh well.

 

the blue hose what is its purpose just to be clear

 

it's that stupid hose that just spews out goofy air back into your intake...just to recycle or something. i don't know what it's called. but the stock intake had it too...just wasn't cool and blue
