New intake looks good. What do you have on there a k&n, and how does it compare to your other one in performance?

i can't tell the difference in performance through filters. i mean, it seems gettiuppier, but it's bliazzarding in chicago right now, so i couln't even give it 10% throttle...haha

but yea, i have a feeling i'm gonna love the chip. and the SOUND of the full intake alone is cooler than my old one.

Great, now all you need to do is find your extra chip. How did you misplace it anyway?

looks good. i had the same one for a while and gave it to my bro in law to put on his hemi. great product for the $$$ spent. i got a great great deal on my volant cai that i couldnt pass up. i bet your going crazy to see how your truck is performing now with the chip/intake haha. i had same problem ater i got my sc 3815 and programmed to the performance tune. needless to say when it was finally decent out i let it rip and got on it every chance i could all day long haha.
trucks coming along nicely.

Looking for a new intake myself for my v6. Was the noise difference between the two significant? Did the first one still sound pretty good?

yea...ridiculously. i hear the new one - period...the old one i could literally tell no difference...except maybe some throttle response (basically a smidgen of torque) but i also did my new spark plugs at the same time...so who knows what it actually is.

want my old one? i made a thread about it...goo look for it and post in it.
